Google Workspace Studio Notion Integration Guide

Connect Notion to your Google Workspace Studio AI agents and automate your entire knowledge management workflow.

What Can You Do with Notion + Studio?

When you connect Notion to Google Workspace Studio, your AI agents can:

  • Auto-document meetings — Create meeting notes pages automatically
  • Manage knowledge bases — Update wiki pages based on conversations
  • Query databases — Search and filter Notion databases with natural language
  • Create project briefs — Generate structured documents from templates
  • Sync tasks — Keep Notion task databases in sync with other tools

Setup in 5 Minutes

1. Create a Notion Integration

  1. Go to Notion Integrations
  2. Click "New integration"
  3. Name it "Studio Connectors" and select your workspace
  4. Grant read & write capabilities
  5. Copy the Internal Integration Secret

2. Share Pages with the Integration

For each Notion page or database you want to access:

  1. Open the page in Notion
  2. Click Share in the top-right
  3. Search for "Studio Connectors" and add the integration
  4. The connector can now read/write that page and all its children

3. Install & Configure the Connector

  1. Download the Notion connector from Studio Connectors
  2. Import into Google Workspace Studio via Extensions → Import Connector
  3. Paste your Notion Integration Secret in the API Key field
  4. Run the test action to verify

Real-World Use Case: Auto Meeting Notes

  1. Google Calendar triggers the AI agent when a meeting ends
  2. The agent uses the Notion connector to create a new page under "Meeting Notes"
  3. It fills in: date, attendees, agenda, and action items
  4. Participants receive a link to the new Notion page via email

This entire flow runs automatically — zero manual documentation needed.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Share only the pages/databases your AI agent needs — follow the principle of least privilege
  • Use Notion database templates for consistent page structures
  • Set up a dedicated workspace section for AI-generated content
  • Monitor the integration's activity in Notion's audit log
